Managed to pop the factory and have a look at some of the part built cars and the demonstrator. its front shocks are upside down and it has not got the front anti roll bar.

Battery tray fitted |
Fitted the battery tray. Then proceeded with starting on the brake pipes, They were a real fiddle and time consuming. Managed to get the front feed completed before breaking off to sort out the Christmas decorations. Though rather than the feed going under the cylinder I had to route it over the top

Front centre pipe to master cylinder, I had to route the pipe over the cylinder rather than under. |
Later in the afternoon I managed to get back to start on the feeds from the front centre point to each wheel. Where as the feed from the master cylinder to the front centre point could do with being longer these could do with being a little shorter.
With the front anti roll bar the mounting brackets for the flexible hoses need to be bent outwards to allow clearance.
It took some working out to think of a plan of attack though I did work out a way of indicating how I wanted to bend the brakes from where and in what direction. By wrapping the pipe with a bit of masking tape I could easily mark the start point for the bend then indicate with a line where the back of the bend should be allowing me to bend with a little more confidence. I also had to unfasted the top of the shock to allow access to the area to fit the pipe. I had a plan worked out but could not complete the pipe as we were going out for the evening.

Pipe almost completed. |

Right rear suspension |
|
Left rear suspension |
While I was attacking the front brake pipes Oli wanted something to do so I let him have ago at the rear suspension. I told him that again fitting the rear roll bar meant that there was something slightly different to do and showed him what was meant then more or less left him to it. He had a fair bit of the right suspension complete when I left and when I returned had completed both sides and started to fit the rear passenger upright. He explained that he had hit a snag fitting the eyelet to the right upper wishbone and pushing the bar through the bottom of the left upright but had left it supported.
